DESCRIPTION:Please join KPIX | CBS News Bay Area\, The Asian Business League & The Japantown Community Business District as we kick off Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month with an after-work reception on Tuesday\, April 29th\, 5:30pm-7:30pm\, here at the KPIX STUDIOS EVENT SPACE\, 825 Battery Street in San Francisco! There will be food and beverages\, performances\, artwork\, and a few surprises! KPIX News Anchor Ryan Yamamoto is our host for the evening. \nFor over 16 years\, CBS News Bay Area has collaborated with local businesses\, non-profits\, and community leaders for after-work receptions at our studios that celebrate the diversity of the Bay Area. These gatherings bring together groups of influencers to meet the CBS staff and on-air talent. Productive and lasting relationships have developed from these receptions. \nThis year\, the Asian American & Pacific Islander Month collaboration continues with a focus on gathering Asian American business leaders\, and professional and community organizations who are experts in their respective fields\, both for networking and being a resource to our news stations. \nFood and beverages will be served.
