Connecting the Unbanked with Richard Dennis, Founder and CEO of Temtum

On this episode of Silicon Valley Insider, Keith Koo’s guest is Richard Dennis, Founder and CEO of Temtum a decentralized network platform powered by blockchain and quantum computing principles whose vision is to reach the unbanked and underbanked in all parts of the world using the Temtum platform.

Richard gives his background in academia as an expert in both computing and cybersecurity and discusses the advancements in quantum computing and how it will be able to crack existing cryptographic standards. However, innovation always continues and new methods to encrypt data will be created.

On this week’s Cyber-tip, Keith discusses the ongoing issues with vulnerable apps in app stores such as Google Play or Apple. A recent study noted that over 42 apps in Google’s app store had vulnerabilities.
